NIST Year 6 - How We Organise Ourselves

Summative and Ongoing Assessment 2010

Central Idea:
Being organised empowers us to achieve.
An inquiry into:
 The organisation of self and groups.
 Organisational tools, attitudes and actions that determine success.
 The relationship between organisation and achievement.

Function: Thinking about the central idea, what do you now know about being organized?
Now I know that to be organized you have to plan before you do something because so you know
what your doing and when your doing it . If your organized you can achieve many things.

Between September 29 - October 8 2010 my ability to organise myself has…

I have gotten more organized but I still have something's that I need to be more organized but
I’m trying my best to be organized for everything.

Action: One of the goals I set myself was…

Going to bed on time

Reflection: I have achieved my goals because now I can go to bed on time. I’m trying to remind
myself to sleep without my parents telling me but I am improving on that.

Responsibility: What have you learned in this unit that may help you in the future?
In this unit I have learned that you have to be organized to do something or else you might mess
up. You have to make a plan so you know what you have to do, what your job is and when it is. My
class had a bake sale and we had to do many planning's because we had to plan who s doing what
job, what time the bake sale will be.
