PROBLEM STATEMENT

 Lack of consciousness among educators in Malaysia

 Novice teachers who have been sent to rural schools in Sarawak

believe that it is impossible to deliver the content of the whole


syllabus within the specified time frame.
 What was written and planned in the record books were not

transferable to classroom teaching.


 Therefore, the quality of teaching will be decrease from day to

day.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

To determine the significance of instructional

supervision in rural secondary schools


To examine the challenges of instructional supervision

in schools at rural areas in Sarawak.


To identify the supervisors and educators responsibility

in implementing instructional supervision


RESEARCH QUESTIONS

 What are the significance of instructional supervision at

secondary rural schools?


 What are the challenges in implementing instructional

supervision at secondary rural schools?


 What are the supervisors and educators’ responsibilities in

implementing instructional supervision?


RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Mixed-method (both qualitative and quantitative)

This study will be designed to get some reviews on

principals and teachers on their perspective on the


challenges of instructional supervision at their
schools by using:
i) Questionnaire
ii) Semi-structured Interview
SAMPLE & POPULATION

Population: i) SMK St Luke

ii) SMK Sri Aman

iii) SMK Simanggang.


Sample : i) 3 principals

ii) 60 teachers
The sample for this study will be selected by using

random sampling.
DATA ANALYZE

Questionnaire:

i) SPSS: Mean, mode, median


: Descriptive statistic
Interview: Data transcription
