Your Directors are pleased to recommend a dividend of 200% (Rs. 4/- per
equity share of Rs. 2/- each) for the financial year 2007-08. The
dividend, if approved at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, will be
paid to those shareholders whose names appear on the register of
members of the Company as on 21 August, 2008.
2006-07

The directors recommend the interim dividend of 200% (Rs. 4 per share
on equity shares of Rs. 2/- each) paid on December 11, 2006 as final
dividend. The bonus shares allotted during the period under review
were entitled to a full dividend, irrespective of their date of
allotment.

The Company also paid a sum of Rs.0.06 crore towards dividend on

21,875,000 10% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs.10/- each
(redeemed during the year)
