Prayers to start a meeting

Dear God, in this beautiful and fresh morning we gather here to start an important meeting, for the
future of our children, the children that you have granted to us to love, to care and to educate. They are
our responsibility until they develop to be a mature person physically and spiritually, and ready to follow
your guidance by themselves. Please, present here among us. Brighten our minds and open our hearts,
so that we can find your will in everything we face together. Teach us how to speak and to listen, so that
every word we say will glorify your name and bring comforts to others, and then we can share
communal discernment for the sake of our children. We ask this through the Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Our father, who art in heaven, halloweed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as
it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we begin this
meeting. Help us to engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer as a group and nurture the
bonds of community. Fill us with your grace, Lord God, as we make decisions that might affect the
students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends of Stella Maris International School, and continually remind
us that all that we do here today, all that we accomplish, is for the pursuit of truth for the greater glory
of You, and for the service of humanity. We ask these things in your name, Amen.

A prayer to end a meeting

Thank you, Lord, for having been with us here. We thank you for your guidance throughout the meeting.
There may be still things that we need to think about, to resolve problems in the light of your glory and
wisdom. Now that we are going to end this meeting, and then heading back home to continue our
activities. Be our light to our paths. Please guide us so that we can arrive home safely, and share the
family time together with our children. We ask this through the Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee

Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us, sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
