As shown on the table below, some music magazines have an online website and some also have
their own radio station and television programme/channel.
This is a screengrab of a magazine subscription website which shows some benefits of buying a
subscription.
I aim to use this technique with my magazine to attract audiences.

Looking through many magazines and from the results of my questionnaire, I came to
the decision to include a free promotional gift. Results showed that many of the people
who took mart in my research and planning task would be enticed by this. This would
no doubt attract the audience mainly by the fact that it is a FREE added gift which
comes with the magazine and that it would include exclusive unseen footage.

I have created a strap line as you can see which is placed across the top of my media
product and also goes with conventions of popular magazines such as ‘Q’ in this
case. This was used to make my music magazine come across as exclusive and
different to others. It attracts the audience as it clearly shows how it is unique and
also that it is the official magazine.

As you can see to the right the main image is slightly covering
emphasises that the magazine is established and can be recognised by the audience
easily. On me media product I have chosen to ad a blend effect so the title is visible
as well as the main image. This also adds a sense of style to the magazine which can
be repeated throughout the contents.
 GENRE CONVENTIO
Use of costume such as baseball caps and chains are commonly used in magazines of
the Grime genre. It attracts the audience by immediately relating them to the image as
well as the contents.
 USE OF ARTISTS NAME
Use of artists names attract and address the audience by naming artists which the
audience would be interested in. In ‘RWD MAG’ there is a list of artists which are
popular in the particular genre the magazine is focused on. This was slightly adopted in
me media product.
