• For researching and planning youtube came vital to finding similar romance trailers
which helped influence us towards our final project. Youtube provided unlimited
access to trailers, music videos and other sources, and then also enabled us to
upload our own trailer, which we could then share worldwide.

 Wordpress
• Wordpress has been a vital process towards our research and planning. With
wordpress we were able to create individual blogs, where we could then post our
research and planning, helping us plan our ideas towards our final project. Through
this we were able to upload documents, pictures and videos sharing our research
with others. This is also another great use of audience feedback as it allows others to
comment and respond.

 Production
• We used cannon camcorders to film our
production, which were easy to use, and
captured all movements and sounds
without problems. The size of the
cameras meant we were able to carry
them around with no problems, enabling
us to film in different areas.
 Final cut Express
• Final cut express enabled us to transform our
footage into a trailer through its great editing
software. Through this we were able to influence
the sound how we wanted, add our own sound
tracks, and set the music in flow with the clips.This
editing software didn’t just let us editing but we
could change the speed, transformation of all
footage. Without final cut we wouldn’t have been
able to create the images we wanted for our
project.
 Adobe Photoshop
• With our romantic film trailer we were asked to make a film
poster and magazine film cover. Photoshop enabled us to
create the most realistic outcomes towards this. With photo
shop we were able to transform images by colour to fit in well
with the overall perspective. Photoshop enabled us to edit
our own photos accurately, so everything fitted into
proportion, including text which may have been used to
capture that romantic genre.
