Paper Helicopter By: Tary and Armie.

Method:

We were planning to make three identical helicopters with

only one thing different- the size of the wings.

Hypothesis:

The longer the wings, the slower the helicopter will hit
the ground.

Results:

The shorter the wings, the faster it spins, but it reaches to

Question: PYP Science skills the floor faster while the long one spins slower but reaches to
a. Observe carefully in order to gather the floor slower.
What will happen when you change the size of the data
wings?
b. Use a variety of instruments and
tools to measure data accurately

c. Use scientific vocabulary to explain

their observations and experiences

d. Identify or generate a question or What we knew before we started / what we know now:
problem to be explored
The long wing slows down the helicopter so it will hit the floor
e. Plan and carry out systematic faster.
investigations, manipulating variables
as necessary

f. Make and test predictions

Conclusions:

Our hypothesis was proven correct, it is now known as a theory because we tried
it three times and all of the times gave the same result.
