ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

We take this opportunity to thank the Academic Staff College, Shimla and
specially its Director, Dr. K.S. Pathaniya, for providing us the opportunity to
attend the Orientation Programme (OP-100). Dr. Pathaniya and his team were
highly instrumental in motivating us and making us believe in our potential to
undertake this research project. We are equally grateful to Dr. Kiran Rekha,
Deputy Director, ASC, Shimla for inspiring and motivating us throughout the
conduct of the OP-100.

Further, we would like to acknowledge the ASC library and its staff members
for providing facilities. We would be failing in our duties without
acknowledging the help and support that we received from the ASC IT
department and its staff members.

We are also thankful to all the participants of the OP-100 Orientation

Programme, who were always ready to provide with their valuable inputs
during the research work of this project.

We are equally indebted to all those people, who are directly or indirectly
instrumental in completion of this research project.
