MANEESH TRIPATHI

Dr. Maneesh Tripathi has obtained his PhD in


Business Administration and Humanistic
Sciences – Preston University, and holds
dual MBA degrees : one from Preston
University (Wyoming USA - Singapore
Campus) and other from the Indian Institute
of Management (IIM) Calcutta (1991), apart
from B.E in Electronics from Govt Engg
College Jabalpur.

During his 21 year career, Dr. Maneesh has


spent the past 10 years at IBM Singapore. At
IBM Singapore, Dr. Maneesh held very
prestigious positions of Chief Operating
Officer (COO) for ISS, a US$100 Mil IBM
Subsidiary. Dr. Maneesh also headed and managed the IBM Security Services Division
which achieved over US$250 Mil in revenues. At IBM, Dr. Maneesh played a cross-
functional role in Business operations, Business Controls, Customer Satisfaction,
Strategy & Channels.

Prior to IBM, Dr. Maneesh was Founding CEO of the Thakral Computers in India and
received the Top Performing CEO award from IBM for his contributions at Thakral.
During 1992-94, Dr. Maneesh served in the Middle East & Saudi with ISI Ltd. During
1986 to 1992, Dr. Maneesh served in WIPRO, Modi Olivetti and Phillips India.

Dr. Maneesh has participated in several workshops such as TQM team in Total Quality
implementation, Services Business Leadership Training and Process and Project
Quality management skills.

Dr. Maneesh is married with 2 sons. Dr. Maneesh loves cricket, plays for Indian Association
teams and has been Vice President of the Singapore Cricket Association (2005-07).

# Played State level Cricket for MP State.
# Captain of Hockey, Football and Cricket team in school
# Captain of University Cricket Team in 1986
# Was a faculty in Indian Institute of Chartered Accountant in Calcutta for Systems
# Likes gardening and grooming landscapes
# Passed a 4 year Diploma in Tabla an Indian musical Instrument
# Won the first prize in University vocal competition.
# Loves swimming, reading and also plays bridge
