How To increase Your Website traffic?
There are several ways you could take to increase traffic to your site,
although some tend to be more successful than others.

1- First, you need to go over your website content and insure that it's
been optimized for search engines. A great free way to find out how
you're doing is to go to a site called http://www.seochat.com and
perform the Keyword Density Cloud function for each page that serves
as a landing page from other sites.

It will tell you the keyword density of each word that appears on the
page in order of the most frequently occurring to the least. Look at the
highest density words and phrases to make sure that they're on target
with what you're looking for - and, more importantly, what your
audience is looking for.

2. You can set up some Google Adwords, Adsense, or pay-per-click

campaigns and then pick relevant sites with Google ads to list them on.
You will have running costs with these though which can get expensive
pretty quickly.

3. You can set up blogs relating to your website. Use fresh content so as
to not repeat too much of your main website, and make sure you
include a link to your site on the page. You should include keywords in

the text which directly relate to what your website is about. The more
specific you can make it, the more targeted your traffic will be.

4. In the same way as the blogs, you can write articles relating to the
content of your site and then include your website link in the resource
box, and submit them on article sites like ezine, articlesbase, eHow, etc.
Once you've beefed up your SEO, the next thing to do is to write free
reprint articles for each of your target keywords and keyword phrases.
These should be 500 words length minimum, up to perhaps 1000, max.
Once you've written the articles, create a free account with
http://www.ezinearticles.com and submit the articles. It will take a few
days for the articles to go live, but after that you can log into your
Author's Tools section to monitor popularity, etc. These are great
because each article contains a resource box that links back to your
site. The articles themselves can be picked up by Ezine publishers
where you appear as a "guest" author. They keep your resource box
intact and you get greater exposure, plus those all important link-backs.

5. You could also create a short video advertising your website and put
it on YouTube. Make sure you include your link in the little info box and
also make sure that the title you give your video uses the same
keywords as you've used in the articles and blogs.

The most important factor in driving traffic to your website is having a

lot of backlinks on sites with related content. These backlinks help your
site to get a high ranking in the major search engines, meaning your site
will have more chance of getting found when people search for your
particular keywords.

In my opinion, I would leave the Google ad campaigns for the time

being and try the other options as they are all free. Once you are
getting a larger stream of visitors to your site you could then use these
campaigns to try and drive even more traffic to your site if you want,
but you may decide its not necessary.

Building backlinks does take up quite a lot of time, especially

considering how many sites there are that you can submit content to,
in one way or another. Because of this, many people buy software
which will submit your articles and videos across a vast number of sites
virtually automatically, saving you a lot of time, whilst getting you more
backlinks than you would likely get yourself. Some of this software is
pretty inexpensive and can be used for as many sites as you wish. If
going down this route though, just be sure to check that the software
only uses ‘white hat’ techniques to get backlinks.

My best advice and what has worked for me has been article
marketing. Go to articlebase and begin to write articles about your
topic and Google will rank you article which will send traffic to your site.
