Starch powder

A candle

Porcelain dishes

A Knife
 How to make it

put a little
starch powder
on a dish.
 Step 2
Light the candle.
(get an adult to
help you with this).

Hold the second dish in
the flame (remember
flames are hot) the
candle flame will
deposit.
 Step 4
Put the second
dish scrape this
soot from the dish.
 Step 5
Deposit it on
the starch
powder.
 Step 6
Keep doing this until
the amount of soot
matches the amount
of starch powder.

Mix the tow

altogether.
 Step 8

When your ready

to lift the print
dust it generously.
 Step 9
Blow the excess away
from the finger print to
lock the finger print in
the cover with it.
