Art, science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the

environment, through process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images, for the

purpose of determining the position, size and shape of the photographed object.

2.1.1 Making precise measurements from photos and other image media to determine relative

locations of points, distances, scales, angles, areas, volumes, elevations and the size and shapes of

objects.
