Description
This area deals with responsible citizenship and deepening our knowledge and understanding
of the world around us. It is also about intercultural awareness, which aims to encourage
tolerance and respect, leading to empathy and understanding. Students ask “How can I make
a difference?” and demonstrate community awareness, community involvement and service,
and reflection.

Possible topics
 Developing an awareness of a community and its needs, and how to contribute to it. For
example: slum communities, orphanages, people with a disability, hill tribe peoples,
refugees, religious groups, schools, hospitals, sports clubs etc
