“RIPPA Rugby” World Cup Tournament

Dear Parent/Caregivers

Your child has been selected to represent our school in the “Rippa Rugby World Cup”
Tournament. The Southland competition consists of three tournament sections –
Midlands, Centre Point and Riversdale.

Salford School is part of the Centre Point tournament, which will be held at Centre Point
on Sunday, 29th of May, with 11 other schools participating.

• 2 sections / 6 teams
• Teams play full round robin
• Top 2 from each section play off
• Top of A plays runner-up of Section B
• Top B plays runner-up up of Section A
Both winners go through to Southland wide final (sometime in early June – date not
yet known)

*** CHILDREN to be at Centre Point by 9:30am please. Lunch will be required.

Game times for Centre Point:

Round 1 10:15 – 10:35am LUNCH 12:15 – 12:50pm
Round 2 11:05 – 11:25pm Round 4 1:00 – 1:20pm
Round 3 11:55 – 12:15pm Round 5 1:50 – 2:10pm
PLAYOFF - 2:30 – 2:50pm
