PROPOSAL FOR COMPETITION ON SANITATION

For the one month long activities in Guna around the

Global Hand washing.
1. Objective:

The objectives of the proposal are as under:

• To create awareness about hand washing with soap among the
students.
• To understand the Importance of Hand washing with soap.
• All the schools of the selected block will have usage will be ensured.

2. Working Area:

Organize sanitation related competitions in 100 selected schools of Guna district.

3. Activities:

The major activities are:

• One day orientation on SSHE for teachers of selected schools.

• Competition for develop best Hand washing device.
• Quiz competition on sanitation.
• Poem & slogan writing.
• Drawing competition.
• Rallies.
• Promotion of key hygiene practices by above activities.
o Use of Toilet
o Safe disposal of infant excreta
o Washing hands with soap at critical times.
o Safe handling of water
• Reward to best sanitation club, teacher, students & school.
