Routines
Entering/Exiting The class can walk down the hall with their hands behind their
Class back or make a choo choo train with hands on their peers
shoulders if they appear to be restless.
Outdoor Times 10:00am to 10:30am
3:30pm to 4:10pm
Classroom Routines 1. My Baby Can Read After Breakfast
2. Circle Time:
3. Sing 2 to 3 songs/nursery rhymes or any form of music and
movement
4. Discuss: The Weather and if today is a good day to go to the
outside? If so what do you wear during the summer?
5. Read a short story. At the Beach with Be Be or Teacher’s/Class
Choice.
6. Centers Only 3 are open to help maintain control and effect
learning while allowing the class to have fun.
7. The Centers for today (3/4)
a. Manipulatives (blocks ---- on the table)
b. Housekeeping
c. Writing Center (Chalk Board and Marker Board)
d. Sand table
8. Clean up around 9:50/9:55
9. Outside or Music & Movement: Superfun Show, Duck Duck
Goose, etc. your choice.
10. Letter Factory 10:30 until lunch time
11. Lunch and Naptime
12. After naptime: Health and Hygiene, wash hands and brush
teeth. The class does not have to brush their teeth, but
everyone must wash their hands.
13. Circle Time: Just include music/movement, story, and talk about
the beach/ocean.
14. Outdoor time 3:30-4:10
15. Clean up go home.

If the class gets restless we have music and movement or blow

bubbles. Blowing bubbles encourages breathing and helps with
fine motor skills (we have the small wedding bubbles and there’s a
bottle to refill. We remain on the carpet area when blowing
bubbles……usually blow bubbles in the evening).

2. Special Needs Students are as follows: Amya Dan no dairy
3. Art is already prepped and on the desk and a sample has been prepared. To help limit
the mess have the kids shake their glitter on a paper plate so we can also recycle the
leftover glitter
