    Dropping an egg into a bucket of salt water and foam to see if it will crack. The hypothesis was that the foam would support the egg and prevent cracking. However, when they dropped the egg into the bucket both with and without wrapping, it cracked both times, disproving the hypothesis and showing that dropping an egg from high enough will cause it to crack regardless of any foam or wrapping.

    Dropping Egg experiment

    If we drop the egg into a bucket that has salt


    Question and foam on the top will it crack?

    The egg won't crack because of the foam on


    Hypothesis top.

    We will drop it accurately down into the


    Method bucket and make sure the foam supports the
    top of the bucket.
    Our experiment didn’t support the question because when we tried 2 times we missed,
    the first time we dropped the egg it had no wrapping and the second time we did use
    wrapping but it did not affect the result of the drop so it still broke.

    Conclusion
    If you drop the egg into a bucket from a very high
    Theory angle it will crack.
