The two major Swiss international airports in Zurich and Geneva

have excellent access via the Swiss railway and motorway
networks. Having landed in Zurich, passengers have an hourly
train service to Interlaken with only one change in the Swiss
capital of Bern. The 198 km distance takes 2 hrs 25 min. A light
snack in the comfortable restaurant car and superb views,
make the journey to Interlaken a wonderful experience in
itself. The 175 km drive by car on well-maintained roads takes
around 2 hrs 15 min.
Travellers arriving at Geneva Airport enjoy the same amenities.
Trains travel hourly to Interlaken, again with one change in
Bern. Guests arrive in Interlaken after covering 226 km in just
2 hrs 40 min. The journey by road takes around 2 hrs 15 min.
Those preferring a speedy and luxurious trip by air can book
a transfer flight by modern helicopter from Geneva or Zurich:
