    NO MORE ABUSIVE TEMP AGENCIES!

     
    Every year, hundreds of workers employed by temp agencies are sent to work 
    without even having the minimum information of : 
     
     
    • Where they are being taken to work   
    • What type of work they will be  • How much they will 
    doing  be paid 
    • What sort of hazards or working  • The name of the company/employer 
    conditions they may face   they will be working for
    HAVE YOU HAD THIS EXPERIENCE? ….YOU ARE NOT ALONE!  
    A report by the REAL Coalition has found that there are more than 70,000 temp workers and 1,400 
    temp agencies in Massachusetts. According to current regulations, these temp employment agencies 
    aren’t required to reveal basic information like how much temp employees will be paid, where they 
    will be sent to work and what working conditions they will face. This has resulted in the 
    exploitation of thousands of temp workers. Its time that we change these unjust 
    regulations and that we fight for the rights of temp workers!  
     
    TAKE ACTION!!
    RALLY AGAINST THE ABUSES OF EDA! 
     
    WHAT:  EDA is a temp agency based in Chelsea that employs hundreds of workers in the Chelsea, Boston 
    and North Shore area. Over the last years, this agency has violated the rights of dozens of workers. Join 
    dozens of workers, community, interfaith and labor groups to rally in front of their office and 
    say….ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! NO MORE EXPLOITATION OF TEMP WORKERS!

    against abusive temp agencies and to push the passage of the REAL ACT (HB 1393)‐ a bill that 
    would ensure more regulation of temp agencies and more protection for temp workers. JOIN
