Exhibition BIG Picture Book
Exhibition BIG Picture Book
You will be creating a BIG picture book for either your guided reading book or
independent book. You will need to keep all of the literary elements: characters,
setting, problem, events, and solution/ending the same. The original plot needs to
be intact; just condense and summarize the literary elements to make a kid-friendly
version of the story.
To assemble the book you will use large white poster board as the book cover and
individual pages. Punch holes and bind the big book with yarn or metal rings. (Or
come see me with a different idea such as wix.com)
Format:
Cover page: title, author, and illustration on cover clearly relate to the story
and entice reader to pick up the book.
The book is assembled to resemble an actual book and large pieces of poster
board used
