Of course!

3 cups rolled oats

2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. kosher salt
½ cup flaxseeds
1 cup nuts*
1.5 cups dried fruit**
2.5 cups milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Since the recipe doesn’t call for any added sweetener, I did add some Splenda to the wet
mix. I may use more next time. Feel free to use honey or whatever you’d like.

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees

Mix wet ingredients separately from dry ingredients
Then mix together
Bake in a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper (for easy removal) for 40 minutes

*I used 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, 1/3 cup dried pecans and 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
**I used ½ cup dried apricots chopped, ½ cup prunes chopped, 2 dried bananas from the bulk
section at Whole Foods and 3 chopped 365 Organic Fruit Strips (which got really great and
melty when it baked) – no sugar added

You can use any combination of fruits and nuts you want… I got the base recipe from
http://www.katheats.com. I got 12 square bars out of it… 250 calories each. I use it as a
hearty snack. I put 6 in the fridge and 6 in the freezer for later use, and I find they are best
when microwaved for 15-20 seconds. Yum!
