Interrogative Adjectives

All four forms of quel mean "what/which" when referring to an object or a person, etc.

● For anything masculine singular, you use quel.

● Feminine singular is quelle.
● Masculine plural is quels.
● Feminine plural is quelles.

ex. J'aime le chemisier rose. Quel chemisier? (What/which blouse?)

Demonstrative Adjectives
ce, cet, cette & ces all mean this/that and these/those.

Here's an easy break-down:

ce - masculine, singular
cet - masculine, singular before a vowel
cette - feminine singular
ces - masculine or feminine plural

To distinguish between "this" and "that" or "these" and "those,"

we use either -ci (this/these) or -là (that/those)

ex. J'aime cet anorak-ci mais je n'aime pas cet anorak-là.
