(Eph 5) • Erusin: This is also part of the first, It is the announcement of the covenant and purchase price with a ceremonial cup of wine. There must be at least 10 witnesses who will now go and broadcast the ceremony…. Matthew26 • The first step of part two of the ceremony is the nissuin, this is the first phase of co- habitation and is predicated by a separation period in which the groom prepares a home for the bride. • John 14 • The second step of part two is conducted in a huppah or the place of consumation. • The wedding tradition is accompanied by both a word and blood covenant. • Upon arrival to take His bride the bridegroom descends with a shout to announce His arrival…. 1 Thess 4 • The groom is responsible for the dress of the wedding and invitation is merited on the same…..
