IGATE completes patni acquisition

After a nearly four month long nasdaq-listed it

services co.;igate on Thursday the completed the
acquisition of India's sixth largest software patni.
The $1.2b acquisition was funded by $770 m debt
$330perferred shares to apex partners.
 iGATE –patni is aspiring to become capability
leader in banking and insurance and health care
verticals.

The two co. Put together have acquired 23 new
customers in the past four month.
The co. also has over $300 m of cash on hand for
operational expenses and investments.
