NAME: WORLD HISTORY FINAL PROJECT

FINAL PROJECT GUIDELINES

For our final project, you will be creating a world history timeline. You may work in groups of 2 people.
Your timeline may cover a specific area such as South America or Haiti, or you may choose a theme or
topic such as Women’s Rights, Wars or Drug Trafficking. You may create your timeline however you
choose; you could create a prezi, a poster, a flip book or any other format you can think of. Your
timeline must include the following items:

 A three paragraph explanation of your location or theme. Cover the basic history and any other
important information you wish to include.
 Your timeline must cover at least 200 years of history; you may choose to cover more time.
 You must include at least 25 major developments on your time line. For each one, include the
specific date and a brief explanation of the event and how it affected the overall situation.
 Include at least 10 major players or historical figures. Explain who they were and any important
contributions they made to this history.
 Include at least 15 images or pictures.
