OBJECTIVES

Student Centered (After 8 hours of nursing intervention student will be able to : )

K – To formulate proper nursing diagnosis with its corresponding nursing care


plan with 80% accuracy
- To identify prioritized nursing problems seen on the patient
- To choose the best intervention for each prioritized nursing problem with 80%
accuracy.

S – To demonstrate proper neurological assessment with 60% accuracy


- To apply basic nursing skills with 90% accuracy
- To apply the 10 R’s of drug administration with 100% accuracy
- To carry out the doctor’s order with 100% accuracy

A - To value proper nursing management skills during clinical duty


- To value given advises by the clinical instructor during post conference
- To appreciate experiences gained during the clinical duty

Client Centered (After 8 hours of nursing intervention client will be able to : )

K – To recognize lifestyles appropriate for rehabilitation


- To list foods that is under the given diet prescribed by the doctor
- To verbalize importance of exercise and diet that is necessary for
rehabilitation.

S – To apply health teachings rendered by the student nurse


- To demonstrate exercises appropriate to the patient.
- To demonstrate basic nursing interventions necessary to the patient

A – To alleviate one’s anxiety with regards to experience felt during the disease
- To appreciate given nursing care by the student nurse during the course of
the clinical duty.
- To formulate an appropriate coping mechanism for stress felt due to sickness
