    Exercice 1.

    1. Find the Y, Z and ABCD matrix for the circuit shown below. You may need the
    help of the table 4.1 below for calculating the ABCD matrix (the same table is found
    from Pozar chapter 4).

    2. Derive the scattering matrix for each of the lossless transmission lines shown
    below, relative to a system impedance of Z0. Verify that each matrix is unitary.
