from. 2) Students can name two unique characteristics of the planets they studied.
Materials: Planet information sheet, Messages for partners, evidence sheet, and prezi

Opening
1. They Might Be Giant Video – How Many Planets?
2. Pass out Planet Information Sheet while watching video

Presentation – I do
3. Prezi - Intro on Planets and activity
4. Pass out the friends’ messages to partners and evidence sheets

Independent Practice – You do


5. Students work in partners to figure out what planet their “friend” is visiting
6. If finish earlier, give pair another message

Summary/Closing
7. Read over the messages through Prezi
