Electrostatics: Electric force, Electric field- Gauss’ Law
and 1st Yr portion: Fluid mechanics
Chemical Kinetics, Chemical equilibrium, Concept of strong
and weak electrolytes, Ionic product of water, pH dissociation
Portions for of acids and bases.
Chemistry Acidity and Basicity, Tautomerism, Aromatic hydrocarbon-
structure of benzene, electrophilic, substitution reaction,
orientation.
Circles: Equation, tangent and normal to a circle, power of a
point, w.r.t a circle.
Inverse trigonometric functions and pair of straight lines.
Portions for
Complex numbers except nth roofs of unity and general
Mathematics equation of a straight line.
Rolles’ theorem, Mean value theorems, Evaluations of limits,
Integration by substitution and parts.
Venue: Respective Centres
Students are advised to bring writing pad, pens, pencil etc. Students need not carry
any sheets for rough work, since space for rough work will be provided in the question
paper itself.
Mathematical tables, calculators, mobile phones and other similar electronic devices
are not permitted. BASE is not responsible for the mobile phones/calculators etc. kept
in the students’ bags outside the examination hall. Students must make a note of their
BASE admission register number and write it correctly on the response sheet. Response
sheets in which (a) the correct Register number is not entered or (b) version is not
marked will not be valued. Absence from the test shall be viewed very seriously.
