1. Completes various governmental census reports and tax statement.
2. Back-up for salary payroll and billing. 3. Supervises accounting personnel and coordinates the staff in the performance of their duties; fills in for the Division Controller as required. 4. Manages all accounting procedures related to operations (e.g. G/L maintenance, accruals, expense charge-off, journal entry preparation, payroll processing, and inventory control including inventory reconciliations). 5. Maintains and develops a close rapport with customers by monitoring all cash receipts and by resolving related problems. 11. Prepares and analyzes financial reports including providing financial information for all plant departments via creation and maintenance of Access databases. 12. Maintains adequate controls and monitors those areas which require expertise and financial planning (e.g. inventories, receivables, payroll, payables and cost). 13. Provides management with monthly and yearly inventory control statements, and reconciles book values to physical inventories. 14. Financial representative on Lean Six Sigma projects. 15. Monitors key performance measurements and tracking systems. 16. Maintains systems associated with product costing. 17. Assists in the budgeting process and procedures for all functions as well as interacts in the development of department budgets with managers.
