Desired Candidate Profile
1) To write macroeconomic research report, economic articles and data comments on a periodic basis. Work on
a sectoral research and analytical article.

2) Identify, collect and analyze economic data for India on a periodic basis. To help in building and maintaining
databases and charts on macroeconomic indicators

3) To work on survey based economic indices. i.e. confidence index, optimism index, expectation index.

4) Assist in developing original economic theme report

 
Job Description
1) Macroeconomic research, along with some sectoral exposure: The candidate should have been engaged in
macroeconomic analysis and research. The candidate should have academic training as a macroeconomist. The
candidate should also have some exposure to sectoral research and related analytical work. 

2) The candidate should have good understanding of economic basics such as Economic Growth, GDP, IIP,
market dynamics, inflation, currencies, demand-supply framework etc. Ideally, the candidate should have worked
on the Indian economy. However, the knowledge of Economic Dynamics of other countries will be an advantage.

3) Strong writing and communication skills. Should be able to communicate his/her ideas freely to other team
members

4) Basic knowledge of statistical technique and analysis is essential. Strong analytical skills required for
compilations of data and analysis of data. The candidate should be able to work with large data sets of economic
variables. 

5) Should be well versed in Word, Excel and Power Point Presentation.
