Give VSA a Hand: Volunteer!

Volunteering with VSA


VSA is a non-profit organization that connects people with disabilities to the arts. In order to make our programs
possible, we rely on wonderful people like YOU who volunteer your time and abilities to encourage the growth of artists
with special needs. Below you will find our volunteer opportunities for summer, 2011. Thank you for giving VSA a hand!

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities One-Time Volunteer Opportunities
Art Camp at ABVI: VSA will be hosting a theatre
camp for the Association for the Blind and
Visually Impaired on Monday, June 27 and
Tuesday, June 28 from 9:30-12:00 noon and
we would love your help with either or both
of these sessions. Class will end with a mini
production on the 28th!

Cedar Springs Library Event: VSA will bring art to


Cedar Springs Library by setting up various
art activities for kids on Tuesday, July 5 from
11:00am-3:30pm. With over 200 kids, we

Tuesday, July 5 from 6:30-8:00pm.
 Picture This! In this photography class,
students will learn to use digital cameras Meijer Gardens Family Fun Night: A night of fun
in new and exciting ways! Mondays, 6:00- and art at the Gardens for children and their

 Glee! Based on the popular hit TV show,
students will learn simple dance moves,
familiar songs, and will play percussion
instruments. Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00pm for 8
weeks within a 10 week span (June 14-
August 16). Meets at VSA: 1140 Monroe, More summer programs are being solidified.
