    designed & developed by MICROSOFT CORPORATION OF USA
    Ms-office comprises of following software’s :
    • Ms-word ,
    • Ms-excel ,
    • Ms-access ,
    • Ms-power point ,
    • Outlook ,
    • Front page .
    OBJECTIVES
    • The name of the package suggest , Ms-office has been
    designed & developed from the point of view of automating
    office activities.
    • This is the main reason why Ms-office is called OFFICE
    AUTOMATION SOFTWARE.
    • For example ; Writing Letters , Numerical Calculations ,
    Financial Analysis , Data Maintenance , & so on ………. Are the
    most common activities , which are performed in most of the
    offices.
    • Ms-office package has been designed to automate all these
    activities.
    MS-WORD
    • Word is the software which enables you to perform typing
    related activities on computer . It allows you to type the text
    freely & it automatically takes care of left , right , top &
    bottom margins , page numbers & headings & so on …….
    • The biggest advantage of this software over typewriter is that
    any portion of the letter can be modified without re-typing
    the whole text.
    • Letter written once can be saved on disk or floppy & it can be
    reused as & when required .
