Introduction

• Degree in Ceramic Engineering is a 4 year full


time course.
 First two years are focussed on developing the
foundation of Engineering while the last two focus
on developing the core concepts of Ceramics.
Ceramic engineering involves research and
development of products that use ceramics, a
heat-resistant material made from minerals or
clay.

Entry into the field of ceramic engineering requires


a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Some colleges


also offer programs to develop ceramics in a
variety of uses like medical devices and
• Eligibility: Class 10+2 or its equivalent (with
mandatory subjects Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics). Minimum Cut Offs vary from
university to University and the board in which
class 12 exam has been passed.
Entrance test as may be necessary from
university to university. OR
Diploma students can get into 2nd year of
degree or 1st year depending on their grades in
diploma.
• Study Further: Candidates can choose between
Management or Master in India or abroad. Each
has various factors to be considered and its
