Creative Scrapbooking

Your scrapbooks should be quality books with writing, illustrations, and photographs that you
will be able to keep for many years to remember your 4th grade year.

The scrapbooks should include:

-Cover w/ Title, Years, Student and Teacher Name

-Table of Contents

-Writing assignments for each field experience

-Any other published writing assignments

-Variety of writing genres (narratives, non-


fiction/informational, poetry, etc)

-Illustrations

-Photographs with captions (tell the people, place, and your reactions)

-Color, Neatness, and Creativity!!

Scrapbooking Hints:

-All finished pages should be 8 ½ x 11 (the size of computer paper).

-Don’t put too much or too little on a page.

-Everything on a page should go together (ex. all photographs or same event).

-Decorate the backgrounds of your pages using rubbings, stickers, paint, boarders,
colorful paper, etc. Don’t be scared to be CREATIVE!!
