What is communication?
 Communication is a means by which behavior is
modified, change is effected, information is made
productive and goals are achieved.

It is also a process of meaningful interaction among


human beings.

It is derived from a Latin word communes'.


It means “to share”
Goals of communication
To ensure that receivers understand the
communication exactly as the sender intends it to be.
To generate a response-some action or change in
knowledge and behavior of the receiver.
To help build relationship between people.
Points on which decision are
taken?
Personal exchange through
words,telephone,email,television,books, advertising
etc are some example of business communication.

What is that has to be communicated ?

Communication can be intentional or unintentional.
It can be verbal or nonverbal.
It can be internal or external.
It can involve humans,machines,animals.
It can take place between two people as well as within
group.
