    Dear Brothers & Sisters in the Dhamma, The Selangor State Government will be organising a state level Wesak celebration this 5th of June, 2011 at the Jubli Perak Auditorium, Bangunan SSAAS, Shah Alam. This is a historic and ground breaking event for the Buddhist community as this will be the first time any state or federal government had ever organized and hosted an official function in conjunction with Wesak Day since the country's independence. The event will be graced by the Menteri Besar of Selangor, the Selangor State Assembly Speaker, State Exco members, elected representatives, government officials and Buddhist community leaders.
