dissolving tablet salbutamol sulphate”

 PROJECT DONE AT : Royal College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences,

Berhampur, Ganjam, Orissa, India.

 PROJECT GUIDE : Mr. Prasanta Kumar Chaudhury, Lecture of Pharmaceutics in

RCPHS, Berhampur

 INSTRUMENT USED : Electronic balance, sigma balance, elico sl-159, shimadzu-

1700 uv-vis spectrophotometer, dissolution apparatus, disintegration apparatus,
tablet compression machine, hardness tester, friability test apparatus, ph meter.

 PROJECT DETAILS : The study was designed to evaluate the effects of super
disintegrates and their use levels on the in vitro dissolution of a very sparingly
water soluble drug Valsartan from its respective tablet formulations . Valsartan, a
specific angiotensin II antagonist, is used alone or with other antihypertensive
agents to treat hypertension.

ELECTRONIC BALANCE, SIGMA BALANCE, pH METER, FLOURI METER,
