 Hip hop is a form of musical expression and


artistic culture that originated in African-
American communities.
 Its culture has spread around the world
 Hip hop music first emerged with disc jockeys
creating rhythmic beats
 This was later accompanied by "rap”

 Jazz is a musical tradition and style of music


that originated by African American
communities in the Southern United States
 It has spawned a variety of subgenres
