GENERATOR HIRE AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is made and executed on this the 1st day of June 2011
at Pant Balekundri

BETWEEN:

1) Sri. Anwar A Attar, aged about 63 yrs, resident of Spinning Mill

Quarter No: B1 Balekundri B.K Ta & Dist. Belgaum hereinafter called
“THE HIRER” of the ONE PART.

AND

SYNDICATE BANK, a bank constituted and functioning under the

Banking Companies (Acquisition and transfer of undertakings) Act, 1970
acting through the head of its – Panth Balekundri Branch [ Belgaum-
Bagalkot ], Mr. – K K Sriniwasa (hereinafter called “THE BANK”) of the
OTHER PART.

WHEREAS at the request of The Bank, THE HIRER has agreed to let on
hire the generator for THE BANK premises on the terms and conditions
hereinafter contained.

WHEREAS, THE HIRER have agreed to provide 15/20 KVA Integrated

Electric Company(P) AC Generator (HTC) with acoustic enclosures as per
PCB norms, to THE BANK on hire for a period of 36 Months starting from
01-06-2011 for a sum of Rs.9500/-(Rupees. Nine Thousand Five
Hundred only) per month towards hiring charges on the following terms
and conditions.

1. THE HIRER shall install 15/20 KVA Integrated Electric Company (P)
AC Generator (HTC) with acoustic enclosures as per PCB norms near
THE BANK’S premises at the above address.
2. The monthly hiring charges will be for 15/20 KVA Generator is
Rs.9500/-(Rupees. Nine Thousand Five Hundred only) inclusive of all
taxes and duties subject to TDS.
3. Installation of DG set along with acoustic enclosure, cost of fuel, oil
and maintenance shall be borne by THE HIRER.
4. The Contract will be for a period of 3 years.
5. THE BANK reserves the right to cancel the contract by giving one
months notice if the services are found unsatisfactory.
6. THE HIRER shall fill the fuel and carryout any periodical repairs,
servicing and keep the generator in good running condition and attend
to the calls immediately in case of breakdown. If THE HIRER fail to fill
 the fuel or attend to the breakdown in time proportionate charges will
be deducted.
7. THE HIRER agree that there shall be no restrictions on number of
hours the generator is used and services shall be provided between
09:30 AM to 08:00 PM including Sundays and holidays.
8. THE HIRER shall employ a person to look after day to day operations
of the generator at his own expense.
9. THE HIRER shall bear all the expenses towards licenses, fees other
charges and shall keep the license valid during the lease period.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF THE BANK and THE HIRER have signed this
agreement on the date mentioned above in the presence of the following
