Course Objectives

1. Develop national, regional and international EIA/EA capacity

2. Promote an understanding of EIA/EA as a valuable tool in project management and
decision-making process
3. To equip trainees with skills and techniques of EIA and EA processes
4. Expose trainees to environmental, socio-cultural and public health issues through field
excursions in selected parts of Kenya.
