JESUS

He loves me more than I ever know.
He exchanged the limitless condition of heaven for my severe limits on earth.
He was a Royal Son, I am a royal mess.
He deprived himself of honor just to be with the powerless me.
 
He left heaven for me to be a living testament on earth.
He came as the Holy of Holies just for me the most sinful of sinners.
He was the King of Kings and made friends with me a nobody.
 
He was righteous yet owned every single sin I have.
He lived a blameless life for my example.
He was not a sinner, I am.
He had no single sin but I have a few obvious and a thousand hidden.
 
He changed many lives, including my undesirable life.
He was the truth and I always doubt.
He was misunderstood for me to understand.
He was placed in tragedy for me to triumph.
 
He was rejected for me to be accepted.
He was betrayed for me to learn from it.
He was condemned for me to be free.
He was never found guilty of sin, I am.
He was convicted for me to be pardoned.
He was disgraced for me to have more grace.
 
He was painfully crowned of thorns, which are stubbornness.
He was stripped of clothes for me to wear the robe righteousness.
He was spat on the face, which I always do to Him.
He was beaten and mocked for my sake.
 
He carried a cross, which is mine.
He passed the rugged and notorious road for me to have a firm conviction.
He allowed the nails to pierce him for me not to feel how painful it was.
He bled Blood for me to be washed and cleansed.
He took the spear for me because I think I don’t deserve it.
He suffered thirst for me to know that the answer is not water but the Truth.
 
He did not resist every hurt He deserve not, all because He cared of me.
He endured pain, sorrow and death to give me hope.
He endured shame all because He knows you cannot take it.
He refused to defend himself to be a light for me.
He was crucified in my place.
 
He bore my dark side.
He overlooked my mistakes for my to look up to Him.
He did not deserve my suffering but still he took it from me.
He prayed and bridged for me before God the Father.
He died for me to live.
 
He rose from the dead for me to have hope and joy.
He prepared a place for me to stay forever with Him.
He will come back for the second time to bring me home, me who is homeless.
He will surely come because He promised.
He is my Savior, Redeemer and Friend.
He is JESUS.
