3.2 PLATE BUCKLED AT FLOODING MAIN DECK

Starboard side deck plating was discovered to be buckled. This scenario


happens mainly due to long range compressive and cause elastic buckling in
plates, resulting in dishing. The loads are expected not evenly distributed.

3.3 GRADE ‘D’ RUST AT MAINDECK

Most of the main deck surface structure on which mill scale has rusted away.
General pitting is visible under normal condition.

Hull structure above water level was found rusted on the surface around.

3.5 CORROSION OF FRAME STRUCTURE

It can be seen a general corrosion on exposed frame structure due to water


ingress. Further survey and inspection in tanks are required to be conducted
to determine the hull structure condition and rectify the leakage.
