1. MAY 1993 TO MAY 1996.

Assistant Electrical Engineer in Electrical Maintenance Department at 3x210 MW Russian Steam Units at
Thermal Power Station WAPDA Muzaffargarh, Pakistan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.
Responsible to look-after following equipments & to carryout routine, special checks for smooth
operation of 3x210 MW TPS, Muzaffargarh.
1. Generators, 210MW hydrogen, water-cooled.
1. 250 MVA Unit Transformers & 25MVA Auxiliary Transformers.
2. 220/6.6/0.4KV Switchgears.
i. Air blast Circuit breaker, Vacuum breakers, ACBs.
ii. C.Ts. P.Ts.
iii. 220KV Bus Bar (Double bus single breaker with transfer bus system.
3. 6.6KV & 0.4KV Motors.
4. D.C. Batteries.
During this stay Ist Inspection of Switch Yard, Transformers, C.Ts, P.Ts, 220KV Breakers after
commissioning of 3x210MW Russian Units was carryout under my supervision.
1. MAY 1996 TO FEBRUARY 1997.
Assistant Instrument Engineer at 1x320 MW Chinese Steam Unit (WESTING HOUSE TECIINOLOGY) at
Thermal Power Station WAPDA M/Garh Pakistan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.
To inspect the material and the instruments shipped by the Contractor before installation and to supervise the
calibration, erection testing and commissioning of all I&C instruments & System including the latest distributed
control system (D.C.S) being installed by M/s CMEC CHINA.
2. MARCH 1997 TO DECEMBER 2000.
Operation Engineer for the operation of 1x320 MW Chinese Steam Unit (WESTING HOUSE
TECIINOLOGY) at Thermal Power Station WAPDA M/Garh Pakistan.
This is most modern electric power plant using the latest DCS control systems and & technology by
WESTING HOUSE USA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.
I am responsible for smooth trouble free and efficient running of power plant. I am
quite familiar with Steam Cycle, Condensate Cycle, Feed Water Cycle, Gas & Oil
Firing in boiler. I have sufficient knowledge about different auxiliaries system, fuel
supply system & circulating water system.
A 220 KV Grid Station is also attached with Station. Being Shift Engineer I was also
responsible for the operation of grid station.
Scope of responsibilities extends to.
● Personnel and technical management for smooth and trouble free operation of plant.
● To minimize deprecation of plant & equipment.
● To ensure scheduled changeover of working and standby equipments to avoid any intricacy in maintenance
problems.
4) 18- OCT 1997 TO 25 OCT 1997 & 20 JAN TO 28 JAN 1998.

I was deputed from WAPDA side to witness the 7 days reliability run test of unit 1&2 of A.E.S. Lalpir in
Collaboration with KEMA Laboratories Holland. The main objective of the test is to monitor the
parameters of boiler, turbine and Generator as per power purchase agreement between WAPDA & A.E.S.
LALPIR M/Garh.

5) JAN 2001 TO DATE.


Posted as Assistant Electrical Engineer in Electrical Maintenance Department at
1x320MW steam power plant (Unit-4) at Thermal Power Station WAPDA M/Garh
Pakistan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.
Responsibilities are as under.
● Responsible for preventive & routine maintenance of Electrical equipments.
● Preparation of estimates for Electrical T&P, consumables materials & spare parts.
● Preparation of check sheets for Electrical equipment’s in minimized chances of outage of plant.
● Major Overhauling of 320 MW Generator, 6.6KV Motors, 6.6KV Breakers, 220KV Transformers were also
carried out under my supervision.
1. NOV 2005 TO AUG 2010.
Assigned additional duties of assistant Store Manager for the store of 320 MW plant as well as A.E.E. as
mentioned above.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities are as under.
● Responsible for procurement of consumable material/Equipments of Electrical, Mechanical & Instrument
section used for maintenance of 320 MW Plant.
● Keep proper record for material received and make arrangement for safe and smooth stacking of material
● Overall management of store consists of 40000 items.
● Deal all store related matters of 320 MW plant.
2. AUG 2010 TO JAN.2011
Posted as Electrical Engineer in Electrical Maintenance Department at 2x210W steam power plant (Unit-5
&6) at Thermal Power Station WAPDA M/Garh Pakistan.During this stay I supervise the job for
replacement of stator bars of 210 MW Generator.
3. JAN 2011 UP TO DATE
Posted as Electrical Engineer in Electrical Maintenance Department at1x320MW steam power plant (Unit-
4) at Thermal Power Station WAPDA M/Garh Pakistan.
