    He wrote about his childhood, his job as a postman, whores, and about alcoholics.

    He writes about the bottom of the American society. Got arrested of FBI.

    He died in 1994 (aged 73)

    Point of view:

    1st person narrator. The main character is playing an active role in the story.

    It is an adult who, is telling the story who is looking back on his childhood.

    The narrator is tillable.

    Time aspect:

    It is a time gap, between the narrated time and the time of telling (about 50 years)

    Setting:

    It is summer a residential neighborhood (villa kvarter). The boys are sitting behind a garage.

    Atmosphere is tight and gloomy and threatening.
