 Open the keil uvision3.LNK.

 You will get a window as shown below.

 Click Project -> New Project.

 Select the location of the project.

 Create a new folder for projects.
 Click open after creating the folder.

 Create separate folders for individual projects.

 Create separate folders for individual projects.
 Click open.
 Create a new project for example: DC Motor.
 Click save.
 You will get a window like this.

 Select Atmel.
 Click the plus (+) symbol that is in the left of Atmel .
 Select AT89s52 from the list.
 Click ok after selecting AT89s52.

 Click yes.

 Click File -> New.

 Text pad will be opened.

 This was used to type program.
 Type the DC motor program in the text pad.

 Click File -> save .

 Save the program for example: DC motor. c.
 Click save.
 Click the plus sign in the right side of Target 1 in the project work space
window.
 Click the plus sign in the right side of Source Group 1 in the project work space
window.
 Right Click the Source Group 1 in the project work space window.
 Select Add Files to Group ‘Source Group 1’.


 Select the already created C File Example : Traffic
 After selecting Click ADD.

 Click close after adding the file.

 Dc motor . c program gets added to your project as shown below.

 Click Options for Target Button (Left side of Target 1 indicated in yellow).
 You will get the Option for Target ‘Target 1’ Window as shown below.
 Click output Tab from that window.

 You can see that create Hex file check box was disabled..
 Enable that check box as shown below.
 Click Ok after enabling.

 Click Save for saving.

 Click on Rebuilt all target files button. ( Third from left corner indicated in
yellow)
 You will get the error messages at the bottom of the slide as indicated in blue.
 Open the ISP_PROG v1.3.exe from the location where you saved
 Select Option - > Settings as shown below.

 Select the com port that you connected using the serial cable.
 Click Ok.
 Click options -> Device.

 Select AT89s52.
 Click ok.
 Click on Read device signature.
 Click on RUN.
 You can see the device specification connected to the Serial port in the
MESSAGES BOX.
 Click on Load Flash file.

 Click on RUN.
 Select the Hex file of your project from the folder you saved.
 You can see the Hex file selected in the below slide.
 Click open.
 Click RUN.
 You can see the HEX file READ operation.
 Click CHIP ERASE.

 Click RUN.
 Click WRITE FLASH.

 Click RUN.
 The HEX File will be written into the AT89s52 Microcontroller.

DC motor Interface circuit board

 Open the keil uvision3.LNK.

 You will get a window as shown below.

 Click Project -> New Project.

 Select the location of the project.

 Create a new folder for projects.

 Click open after creating the folder.

 Create a new project for example: DC Motor.

 You will get a window like this.

 Select AT89s52 from the list.

 Click ok after selecting AT89s52.

 You will get a window like this.

 Click File -> New.

 Click File -> save .

 Save the program for example: DC motor. c.

 Select Add Files to Group ‘Source Group 1’.

 You will get a window like this.

 After selecting Click ADD.

 Dc motor . c program gets added to your project as shown below.

 Click output Tab from that window.

 Enable that check box as shown below.

 Click Ok after enabling.

 Click Save for saving.

 Select Option - > Settings as shown below.

 Click options -> Device.

 Click on Read device signature.

 Click on Load Flash file.

 Click CHIP ERASE.

 Click WRITE FLASH.

 The HEX File will be written into the AT89s52 Microcontroller.
