The Chinese Cape

Description: Dates:
The Emperors were around very long. As a matter of fact, they still are! All over the world there are Rulers, Emperors, Presidents, Kings, and so on. But the ancient Classic Chinese dynasties all had there own Emperor. Here are a few examples: The Chinese Emperor cape was a long embroidered robe, hanging off the Emperor's shoulders. This was a symbol of gratitude, and leadership. This is why it is one of the Emperor's main type of clothing.

Emperors wore clothing like this. There were many Emperors, from 1640 BC to 1840 AD. One example of the Emperors, was a man named Xia. This Emperor was a part of the "Western Xia Dynasty".
