Deepak Kindo, CEO & MD. Sambandh Finserve Pvt Ltd.

An MBA graduate from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, Mr. Kindo has over seven years of experience in the field of micro finance. During this period he worked for Friends of Womens World Banking India, an organisation which focuses on building strong and sustainable MFIs that reaches to a large clientele comprising of poor households. He has served the organisation in various capacities encompassing all important operational aspects of MFIs. He also has wide exposure to various models of micro finance both at the national and international level. As CEO his responsibility is to professionalize the entire setup as to meet the objectives within the stipulated time. Mr. Kindo is exclusively overseeing the HR and strategic growth aspects of the organization. About Sambandh Financial Services Sambandh Financial Services is a new age micro finance institution (MFI) established in the in the year 2006. It is a unit of Sambandh Finserve Pvt. Ltd., a Non Banking Finance Company. Sambandh is an inclusive finance services initiative for low income households. Initially it was launched as a project of Regional Rural Development Centre a state level Non Governmental organisation based out of Sundargarh district of Orissa. In 2009, this initiative was transformed in to a NBFC. Sambandh presently reaches out to 7,000 low income households with Rs.150 million given as loans for running their enterprises. Sambandh aims to economically empower low income households, by providing a broad range of meaningful financial services on a permanent basis. The initiative has a strong urban focus and supports entrepreneurs across the small and micro enterprises value chain. Sambandh is committed to providing high quality financial services, bundled together with value added services aimed at positively impacting the quality of life of its clients. Sambandh plans to reach to out to more than 1.5 lakh households spread across three states by the end of 2015, with its client responsive products and value added services serving the needs of the low income entrepreneurs across the various market segments.
