However, currently, the replacement still has paramount obstacles: first, customers using habits; second, technical barriers. PLC still lags behind special controllers in motion control. As to large power machine units, the technological gap turns to be especially big. Although PLC has advantages regarding low prices, yet as to clients in this new emergent industry not very concerning product costs, such advantage is not that obvious.
