Interview Process: By asking standard behaviourally based questions of all applicants, the interviewers are able to predict future actions based on real experience. Questions are able to be paraphrased and applicants probed where it is evident that they have an answer but are unable to rel ate it in the required terms. Applicants should provide specific examples in resp onse to the questions asked. These examples should be workplace/work experience based and in the general response format below: Situation: Tell us what the situation, problem or issue was Action: Tell us what actions, remedies, steps you took in this situ ation Outcome: Tell us what the result was Rating System: 1. Rate the candidates response to each question using the scale set out below. At th e conclusion of the interview determine, as a panel, as overall suitability rating for the candidate and insert this in the space provided. Rating Scale: 1. Much less than acceptable 2. Less than acceptable 3. Acceptable 4. More than acceptable 5. Much more than acceptable
